John is a customer focused and operationally driven business owner and leader with a wealth of experience in the FM, engineering and construction sectors. He has a track record of delivering business strategies that improve performance, safety, service and employee stakeholder satisfaction. 

 

John has enjoyed a varied career across education, health, property and engineering for over 30 years. The first 10 years were spent within NHS estates and the past 15 years have been spent working for some of the largest construction and service providers in the UK. In the last 5 years John has focussed on setting up and operating an engineering maintenance, construction and net zero specialist company called Avrenim Group. 

 

John, along with his business partners Sandip Sali & Simon Mattravers, set up Helios Distribution with a focus on introducing new brands and more high-tech technology within the electrical components and products marketplace. The Helios team are excited by the opportunity to shape the future operating model and growth strategy of Helios Distribution and work with clients who share his and the company’s principles, values and social responsibility 

Sandip is a senior executive with vast experience in renewable energy and sustainable solutions; based in the UK. He has previously sold and managed major projects in Energy and utilities sectors in the UK and Europe, and is now founder and MD of Ampergia Ltd., a sustainable energy solutions company. 

 

After receiving his degree in Electrical Engineer Sandip worked with many energy and technology companies in India; have also supported energy companies in Australia, Europe and United States. 

 

Sandip has passion in providing the cleaner energy solutions to everyone. This is possible through his company based in the UK, leading innovative and talented team of engineers and staff. 

 

His company’s first smart (Made in India) EV Charger will arrive in the UK and Europe market in July 2023. 

 

Through his company Sandip is helping thousands of customers in the UK in reducing their costs of energy and carbon footprint which is key in achieving UK Govt net zero target. 

 

His vision is to expand his business internationally, the registration process of the subsidiaries in the Australia and USA are already underway. 

Bringing years of hands-on experience in operations management, sales, and client relations, Richard brings extensive expertise to our team as our new General Manager. 

 

Holding a BA (Hons) in English Language & Linguistics he also has over 20 years experience working with global supply chains and driving customer success in multiple industries and roles. Outside of work, Richard likes music and plays piano and guitar. He is also a proud owner of a ukulele but his greatest passion is cricket, which he has been involved with his whole life. 

 

Richard brings with him a commitment to excellence and a proven track record in delivering results, which makes him a valuable addition to our management team. With his leadership, we are confident in our ability to continue pioneering renewable energy solutions and driving sustainable growth at Helios Distribution.

With her extensive background in logistics and marketing, Carol brings a wealth of experience and expertise that is invaluable in driving our message forward. 

 

Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Logistic Management and a Post Graduation in Communication and Marketing, Carol has demonstrated her commitment to continuous learning and professional development. She possesses a diverse skill set, including social media management, SEO optimization, data analysis, and strategic marketing planning, she has demonstrated her ability to enhance online visibility and facilitate business growth through a combination of creativity and analytical skills. 

 

Outside of her professional endeavors, Carol is actively involved in various initiatives, including starting a Women's Network to provide support and mentoring opportunities for women in the industry. She is also passionate about raising awareness for the baby loss cause in Brazil and managing communication and digital media channels for a Brazilian baby loss charity.

With a background rich in practical experience and continuous learning, Dev brings a robust skill set to his role as Warehouse Coordinator at Helios Distribution. 

 

At the start of his career in Brazil, Dev worked alongside his father in a woodworking shop and later in various mechanical workshops. After marrying, he moved to Italy, where he worked as a courier for two years. Returning to Brazil, Dev and his wife opened a restaurant, coinciding with the arrival of their first child. He then transitioned to logistics while simultaneously studying law and opening a law firm with his wife. 

 

In 2016, Dev moved to the UK and worked in several different sectors before returning to logistics in 2021. He has since furthered his expertise by obtaining additional qualifications in warehouse safety (ICQ) and certifications for operating various types of forklifts. 

 

Outside work, Dev enjoys staying active at the gym, spending time with his family, and playing football with his sons. His dedication to his family is unwavering, and he cherishes the journey that has brought them together.
